Hey-Why not “Crew”???…

Looking to get involved with your kids love and joy of competition?... Music?... Color Guard? Why not “Crew”?

Looking to meet the other parents of the Competition Band? Why not “Crew”?

New High School band parent, second year band parent or “Seasoned Veteran” – we have them all, a great group, and we’d love to have you, too.

Some can commit to the entire fall season, some just a few shows, some just can work on the equipment or can contribute materials. We’re all a part of the huge effort that goes into producing the exciting show you’ll see this year. The students will be hard at work this summer perfecting their show, and we will be there to support them.

The main mission of the Point Pleasant High School Competition Band Crew is to support the Competition Band Director and his staff during competition season. We also seek other opportunities to help out during the rest of the school year and support the Band Boosters, the Band Picnic, the Athletic Boosters Spirit Parade, the Borough’s Memorial Day Parade, and other worthy activities as they arise.

As instruction for the competition season begins shortly, we are preparing ourselves to be ready to build and repair whatever equipment will be part of this year’s show. We will have an organizational meeting shortly to go over the schedule and exact work that needs to be done.

The Band Boosters support us financially, we fulfill the rest.

I hope that you can support us in any way possible. If you would like to accept the challenge, I promise you a rewarding return. Just watch the faces of our students as they relentlessly rehearse, prepare, compete on the field, and enjoy their successes. The reward is there, and there for you to see.
